Expert Witness Reports

Financial litigation can be complex, and it is often essential to provide an independent, expert witness to provide effective and accurate analysis on a case.

DFM provides fund analysis and financial modelling for a number of scenarios, ranging from poor financial advice in relation to retirement planning, to trustees failing to discharge their duties properly in relation to investing trust assets.

Case study

A client had a dispute in relation to a failure of fiduciary duty and DFM were asked to provide a full analysis of what the clients trust value could have been (had the assets been invested in line with the clients risk profile), as opposed to what the assets were actually worth.

What our client says

“I have used Dorey Financial Modelling on a number of occasions in the context of financial services litigation, and in particular for their expertise in asset and liability valuation and in economic modelling to determine asset or investment performance. The DFM team have brought their many years of investment actuarial and financial services industry experience to bear on the projects undertaken for our clients. In what can be an enormously complex area, DFM have worked collaboratively with our team and our clients to explain and memorialise their findings in ways that are not only appropriate to the client, but can be presented to the court as genuinely independent and robust propositions. DFM understand the various implications and nuances of a disputes process, are incredibly responsive and efficient, and in the final analysis provide a level of expertise that can be trusted and relied upon. I have no hesitation in endorsing them.”
